Which breast procedure is right for me?
The answer depends on the concern you want to address. Augmentation adds volume, a lift repositions and reshapes, reduction removes tissue and skin, and revision addresses a prior operation. Some patients benefit from a combination, while others may be advised not to have surgery.
Will insurance cover breast surgery?
Most cosmetic procedures are not covered. Breast reduction or reconstruction may qualify under some plans when medical-necessity and authorization requirements are met. Coverage is never guaranteed until your insurer confirms it.
How much does breast surgery cost?
Cost varies by procedure complexity, surgeon, facility, anesthesia, implants or other materials, and follow-up care. A meaningful estimate can be provided only after the recommended plan is established.
How long is recovery?
Recovery differs by procedure and patient. Your surgeon will give instructions for wound care, support garments, medications, driving, exercise, work and follow-up. Faster recovery should never be promised without considering individual circumstances.
Do you see patients from outside New York?
Out-of-town consultations may begin remotely when appropriate. Surgery requires a safe travel and recovery plan, an adult support person when required, and in-person follow-up arrangements.
